Monochromatic dinner
Nov 8th
- Black Destruction
- Green Obsession
- Red Aggression
- White Corruption
One of the first assignments we got when I started my B.A in Digital Design in 2009 was to create a monochromatic dinner. My group decided to take on the colors white, red, black and green and we each cooked food that had the same color -mine was red. Luckily, the presentation was more important than the taste for one of the prizes, so my photos and design won a jar of candy for my group. Fuck yeah, candy!

The White Rabbit
Oct 2nd
I’ve always been fascinated by The White Rabbit from “Alice in Wonderland” as I share the feeling that there are never enough hours in a day.
This is a mixture of digital and traditional media. The main image is a watercolor painting with color pencil detailing, which didn’t get scanned too well, so I started to play around with it in Adobe PS CS4 to see what would happen.
The frame is an edited version of a photo/brush stock
Lament
Jul 31st
My final high-school project for art class.
Finished in April, 2006
Acrylics on board.
It measures 2,55m x 1,30m (roughly 8’4” x 4’3”….and I’m 161cm tall, you do the math) and took me 2 months of hard work to finish.
This is a painting about change and choices and creating and self-expression. You can let misfortunes drain the life out of you or you can use them to feed pretty things, filtering bad blood through pure white flowers.
Obviously there are lots of symbols in this. The most important is the thick, green vein that leads from the heart, through the body, out the head, around the arm and into the flower that bleeds.
